WOW! Yesterday was my 1st “Big Track” Experience and I can say I’m happy it happened with the crew at Hobby HQ!

Yesterday being my 4th time out racing a 1/8 and I can defiantly see the appeal of full throttle drifting and then building up speed to launch the cars, simply amazing fun!

I will have to agree the main starts were very strange to me. Sorry Bill for getting out of order

All in All with back to back days of racing I left happy yesterday just wanting more! Great job on the track can’t wait to make it out again this season.

To All:

Thanks for the great turnout on sunday!

Im very sorry about the rc score pro issue in the beginning but luckily i had good old autoscore to come through and work out in the end.

Our first race day went well, as well all know first day glitches are inevitable!

The starts will change, i only did the rolling start because of the scoring issue. We will use the standard start for next week. Lined up in order from the pits!

UNLIKE OTHER TRACKS, HOBBY HEADQUARTERS WILL BE GIVING GIFT CARDS OUT TO THE TOP THREE IN THE A-MAINS! GRANTED THEIRS AT LEST 25 ENTRYS!

YESTERDAYS PAYOUT WAS

25
15
10
Certificates are good towards purchases in the store 20feet away!
Not usable as race entrys!
Discounts may vary when used with giftcards!

PLESE NOT: WE WILL BE CHANGING OUR SCHEDULE:

To the following days,

4/26 -
5/10
5/24-possible memorial day race!
6/7
6/21
7/5

Second half of season to be posted at a later time.

last weeks results will be posted this coming weekend! Due to the change in scoring programs!

Thanks for everyone's support!

Tim

Thinking about coming out from New York on Sunday. What's the word on tires for 1/8th buggy? Entry fee? Practice time, race time, classes, etc..?

Thanks for the info.

Andrew - Its a real nice track, and worth the ride. Probably about 2 hours from the GW Bridge, and all interstate. The track is like 2-3 miles south of Rt 80 exit. They run buggy, truggy and MT. Cityblocks were by far the best of the AKA tires on my buggy. They practice till around noon, and then run the qualifiers (6 minutes, 3 rounds) after that.
