Still waiting for a new Team Scream 17.5 motor (spec'ed for WGT-R). <grin>

No, 209 Raceway at Stockton still has the older CRC gray carpet. Still in good shape though.

Did race my carpet WGT-R on the new black carpet at the IIC. Loved it! Immediate traction from the first practice; and, it did not get ridiculous after 5 full days of practice/qualifying/racing.

Hi Chris,

Did you mean electronics layout/configuration as opposed to the setup?

My configuration is nearly identical to yours. Would suggest that the wires to the cap (connected to your ESC) should be shorter. Read that somewhere.

Yes. Brian (Dumper) is da man at CRC.

Indeed, Vue is borrowing me his until mine arrives. We have a big track, but not the grip.

We'll get the CRC's on track now.

So what tracks here in Los Angeles are running this kit(World GT)? Thinking of getting back into the hobby as I have a little more time on my hands.

Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks for the correction.

CRC is a family shop. Their support guy is racing at Snowbirds all week, hence no reply. I'm sure Brian will be replying back to emails on Monday or Tuesday.

I only have a manual for the R/T. Are you looking for the center shock ball mounts? Do you have a pic?

So, are you talking about the original Gen-X10 that came with the Losi TC center shock.

Initially, several of us ran the original WGT car with full-sized 2S packs (making the cars heavier) and the Losi center shock (as supplied by CRC). The Losi shock was actually used on their JRX-S TC cars.

Somewhere along the line I switched my Losi TC shock over to an Xray unit. The Xray was much smoother and easier to rebuild. Both take larger TC springs (not CRC pan car springs).

If you are running 1S packs, I would use the standard CRC shock with 30 wt. oil. You would need a few CRC center springs too.

Hope this helps.

Bill
