Changes!
Space Coast RC will be making some changes to the surface of the track to attract more racers! We want to see some 2wd buggies as well as stadium trucks! In the next few weeks, we will be acquiring equipment to maintain a high bite smooth surface. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are in need of a riding lawn mower and someone who can fabricate a drag for us. Thanks for the support, and we are looking forward to the 2012 changes.

What a great cap to the top notch Short Course King Fall 2011 Series, and beginning to Mr. Cason/Echevarria's collaboration at the Space Coast Track in Titusville!
Looking forward to running 2wd mod SC and even a 2wd buggy (not as 'SSC' but as myself for a change!). This brings back memories of wanting to run 2wd buggy while running a 4wd Optima buggy back in the '80's (don't stomp on my age cause ya'll know a guy who can't part w/his Plano tackle box is 'ole school - plus that's where Traxxas is from!).
Time to get back into the track 'gym' (w/orient-style hat and wheel barrel ... maybe even jump into a skidsteer at this track again). SSC's sponsorship will also continue. Hat's off to Space Port Cycles for a track that started as the owner's son's motocross 1st training ground (now like top 3 in nation at 12-14yrs old). And to Ken for his great announcing memories ('Freestyle Points...'). This is going to be fun and I look forward to getting my hands dirty at this track once again w/Roger's pro-tubing crew.

Tech Initiate
Hopefully can get my feet wet for the first time this Sunday. Just got a 2wd AE SC10 and 2wd AE T4.1. Would the T4.1 be in the same SC class or is that the stadium truck class??? New to all this so trying to figure it out. Also is the Sportsman class an anything goes class or Noob class? I'm 37 but if I can run in an under 12 class I think I can be competitive
Is the racing here more on the fun/club level or does it get serious? Thanks!

Your T4.1 will be in the Open Stadium Truck class, if we have enough entries. See you there!!

In our attempt to bring in new classes, I wanted the title to say Space Coast RC. If we call it Space Coast Short Course, people may assume we only race Short Course trucks.

Triple got a top & mid message, Firebird lane got flattened....curved....and rhythm sectioned w/double-single, center U-turn got messaged with a 4" drop in top line at the 11o'clock-on (brake check for clean lineup into triple), and big U-turn at end of straight got messaged throughout. Just need to complete re-face of driver's stand jump and left side jump face w/a rubdown at top of straight.
I'm going to fly the 4wd as far as she can go w/RX8/Pro4 4000 come Sunday, and enjoy gliding the 2wd down the new S/rhythm section. Gonna sleep tight tonight. Anyone got a nice Sweden lady to walk on my back for an hour (sanding chassis top plates for 2-nights to this...)?
