EB Mods pipe

EB Mods pipe
Question #1 - I picked up one of these a few years ago when they came out. I really like this pipe. Does anyone have one they might want to get rid of? I cant seem to find one anywhere
Question #2 - I have a leak between the exhaust port of the motor and the pipe. Before you even advise, I have installed 2 different brand new OS exhaust gaskets.. still leaks.. I assume that the header flange has worn becasue the roundness still looks true.. Anyone have any tips or advice on how to remedy this? I thought about spreading some black non-hardening silicone(like I use to seal backplates and carbs) around on the inside of the header pipe flange and letting it dry, then mounting back on the motor. I am thinking this would be better than installing the header when the silicone is wet so then I might be able to remove and re0install the pipe without the silicone "sticking" the two together... Any comments? Thanks in advance

What header gasket are you using.I use the hpi header gaskest on my 2041,it is thicker than all the other ones.It is a purple color one.

2041 gaskets
You need a beefy gasket on the 2041 cause the opening in the header is slightly larger then average. I like the onfa ones

I will try some thicker header gaskets.. just didnt think about that becasue when this pipe was new, 2 years ago or so, it fit and worked just fine on a speed motor... not the same motor now, but still a speed, and just cant get it to seal... will try the thicker gaskets you said.... if still doesnt fit, will just find a new header that fits... thanks for your replies and thanks for the PM replies also..

which manifold do you prefer on this pipe? short angled or long curved? Current EB version has the long curved header, but running the short angled one will give more bottom end and the epxense of losing a little top end.... Any of you have a preference on the 2041??????

i run the tight mbx 80 header cause it fits in the car the best.. lost a lil bit of bottom but gained some top.

In your opinion, how will the EB pipeset be better than the OS 2060?
runtime? power?
Back to your qn 1, I have the EB pipeset and am willing to sell it to you but shipping won't be cheap cos I'm on the other side of the world..
