I find more initial steering, smoother cornering, better front end durability. I forgot the part number but they have the out drives so you can use the gear diff in the front.

For me it feels like it smooths out the steering and also better durability.

I think it is. I built a friends tcxx with the front drive cup option part, and the only difference I saw was the use of no driveshaft blades.

Yep direct drop-in but it comes with outdrives that are used in the rear and require blades so for the front we run Hot Bodies Gear Diff Outdrive Set Front/Steel TCXX (2) since these don't require a blade and have a 2mm slit.

Hi Fred,

Is the diff normally used on the front if so how do you build it with Putty or diff oil, will you use it on stock and modify?

thanks Nuno.

Anyone use the TCX 2.0mm topdeck? How does it compare to the TCXX 2.0mm topdeck? Any major noticeable flex differences between the two?

Thanks

Do the TCXX gear diffs have any leaking issues? I would like to install one in my TCX but it seems like everyone but Xray drives complain about leaky diffs.

More mid-corner rotation due to more flex, and it allows the car to be easier to drive on high grip carpet.

I've only heard of one person on this thread who had an issue with leaking. I have an issue once but it was due to a bad small oring and I've not heard of or seen anyone in my region have an issue with it. BTW I have heard of people having issues with Xray diff's leaking too.

Hi

My brother and I are running the Nitro R10, just wondered if you have issues with the shock bladders on the electric and if you have any suggestions for alternatives?

Thanks
Andrew

So when I was first starting back up in Rc a year ago, I got a tcx for drifting. After visiting a local track I started racing heavily, and went to an xray t3. Now I have a t3'12 for my VTA, and a t4 for sedan. Love them. Having said that I still have a spot for the tcx-maybe it's the purple, I don't know. But, recently having a look at the tcxx, it looks promising! Same suspension design as the newest t4, narrow chassis, excellent gear diff? What isn't there to like? Any major changes out of the box? How is it in comparison to speed, laptimes, ease of use? Reliability/robustness? I'm actually curious to try one or two..
