The one Joe gave me to test here blows away everything I have ever dyno'd 19 turn wise

If they run half as good as they build and dyno they are going to be ballistic!!

EA, how do the Orion's want to be geared say, vs. something like a KD?

I always geared the Orions like check points when I use to run them. Final drive ratio of 5.5 on most tracks. I liked the laydown 19 turns better than the V2 style cans.

I'm sure EA will fill everyone in on all of his testing.

andrew gray has a couple of the new orions and he is saying he gears them 2 teeth lower than a KD.....and there rockets!

KD's vs Orion/Peak?

So,
What springs and brushes on the new Orion or Peak are you using? The stock ones? I heard with the stock set-up you can only gear it at 6.1 and then the motor temp becomes an issue.

Is this what your finding? I was planning on ordering some KD's but I'm not 100% sure.

skeen and I are driving up firday night and plopping down at the holiday inn to see if we can get some real sleep before a "big" race. didn't think I could get my but out of bed at 4am to drive up there. and I think skeen was bored. he's just hoping for rain for the mains again cause he figures he can only keep it together for 5 minutes is this 3 and main or 2 and main tres?
