I think OzRyders is an OK board - ausRC (I did like motorsport00's observation) I'm checking out but there's low content and members there because it's so new.

IMO, Australia doesn't have the volume to support so many sites. I'll be trying to keep up with all of them until I run out of time to do so, and then I might fall back on 1 or 2 of my favourites

Cheers, Oggy.

Just a quick note regarding:

AUSRC.COM

This site is not sponsored by Tower Hobbies. It is a self funded site running out of Brisbane. It was started for the exact reasons you mention in this thread.

The Tower Banner was a means to an end - you can't get listed in their Web Directory unless you link to them. Now that has happened, the banner points to a local Canberra guy called MRCModelCarParts.

There is a good little community over there, so you should give it a shot.

Huthy

Quite a few of just the same few 'old' folks, really.
Now again again a new RC convert drops by.

Imho the Oz RC online community isn't as big as we'd like to think.

Try this one too...

WC,

Totally agree ... the same names keep reappearing.

That said, ausmicro has a huge community.

btw Do us a favour here folks.

Ausmicro has just moved to new/bigger/better servers and we're
trying to get some new folk to come test out our bandwidth.

Why not join up?
Its FREE - cost you nothing, nothing to lose.
Also a chance for you 'experienced' fellas to share your hardwon knowledge.

And if we get enough hits on the "non-Micro" thread/s, it'll be no
hassle at all to expand that portion of Ausmicro's chat forum.

Just CLICK on the graphic Link.

If anyone's setting up RC sites for their club, or for the greater good of the community (read: NOT commercial sites) and has trouble with decent hosting, talk to me.

I have lots of space and lots of bandwidth available for projects that are for a worthy cause. I am also happy to host static content - IE big files you don't have enough space or bandwidth to host on your current site, that you want to house elsewhere.

No popups or banners either.

PM me if you're interested.
