Questions?? Question for motor to the losi ten-scte

Tekin Pro4 4-Pole Brushless SC Motor, 4000kV /4600/3300
with rx8 esc
which one could be better for TEN-scte?????
Or Tekin SC4X Sensored Brushless 550 Motor, 5.5T ?

Also, i saw the hobby wing one is good at price, but idk how it is going in the car.

or any other advices?

The 4600 is the best of the pro 4 motors to put in the losi. Since your new, just a word of advice. It would be better to ask this question in the actual losi scte thread. I'm not gonna get angry like others will. Just trying to save you the headache. Good luck and have fun.

I wouldn`t say that , the fastest motor isn`t always better . Any will be great if geared correctly .

They are all great motors I run the 4000 in my sc10 4x4, and I like the 4600 in the losi, if you go with the 4600, you can always turn it down in the radio as long as it has that function.

i race with a guy who tried tekin's 4000kv pro4..it ran too hot all the time, hew couldn't get the temps where they should be..he got the 4600kv and the temps are down quite a bit..he ran a fan on the 4000 just to get the temps in the 160's..tried 3-4 different pinions..the 4600 has been running 140's with no fan..bigger can be a good thing..jmo, i've got a tenshock sc411 4600kv ordered..just waiting for it to b shipped

Ty, this is exactly why I said the 4600 is better for the losi, the temps are much lower then with the 4000. Most people run the 4600.

The motor doesn't. I've only bought rx8 combos, and they include wire. As for just an rx8 I'm not sure b/c I never just bought an rx8.

both those temps are well into the cool range of the motor.

around 180 is what most people would see, temps top out around 200 on the pro4
its supposed to run warmer

Rx8 comes with enough wire for motor and battery connections...Tekin Pro 4 motor only comes with sensor cable.

The SC4X 4.5T with RX8 seems to work well.

Thumbs up It's 2012

The future is here the Pro4 4600 is the way to go. Mine runs 130* all day on a big 1/8 scale track. Geared 16/40 The motor is so smooth what you do is tame the car using your dif fluids. I run 3/3/1 on a loose track. its easy to drive and you have all the power you need! I have the RX8..... Get yourself the hotwire and make setup so easy! have a nice X Mass!
