No...it cannot be run on 1S by itself. However, Club Spec can be run on 1S if you use the TQ CELL booster unit, only the TQ unit will work, I have tried others like NOVAK and somehow it won't work. And I have not try Short Course Master....but I will guess the same thing. And I would not recommend that....the ESC is designed to run on 2S.
Thanks.

Anyone have a good setup for the mmm 17.5 ?? ( non timing - "blinky" on a somewhat large carpet track , flowing and fast but still technical layout )
Timing and FDR settings ! I ran it once at 4.0 FDR and full ( 20 degree ) timing. It was very fast early but faded too much. Unfortunately I don't get enough test and tune time between races...

i have not rum much with with out using timing but i would suggest starting at a FDR of 5.5 and see what happens just keep dropping a few teeth at a time and check the temps.
with my old V3 i was running a FDR of 4 and now have a FDR of 7.3

Hi there,

I was wondering if I can obtain a GT 2.0 housing replacement any where or from SP themselves? Mine's held together with tape ATM coz I was too harsh on the clips.

Thanks

I have been experimenting with different firmware On the GT 2.0, and loaded some of the latest hobbywing settings on to try, problem is now I can't seem to load SP firmware back on, keeps coming back with message saying unable to upgrade. Any suggestions?

I have been running the citrix short course esc and v2 17.5 in my blitz and took it out tonight for an oval race. I was running max timing on the esc and added some more timing via the motor (estimated 10-15Degrees). Now I knew I was pushing the limits and it failed on me as i was leading the amain lol...greed sux.

I was considering going with the same setup since they are on sale, but then I was looking at the 17.5 mmm. How good is this motor? can it be paired with the short course esc?

Im trying to find a good 17.5 setup without breaking the bank. Anyinput would be great

Go to the 205_mod and then upgrade it on the sp software.

Ive seen guys use them... They seemed to work very well to cool the motor. I cant remember exactly, but I think it dropped the temp around 10deg or so.

Its getting hot here also... Track temps should be hitting 60c soon enough

I just purchased a used gt 2.1 prostock. I believe it was used for non boosted 17.5 off road. Do I need a laptop to tell what software it has and change it for boosted touring? I have the pro lcd box and software..

to dee what software it has connect the box it will tell you what firmware the speedy has.
if you want to change the firmware you will need to use a lap top and down load the pc interface.

all the info is on the speed passion web site with vidio support aswell

Try 4.75 final with 30* green board (all the way to 30*).
