Cant have Kryptonite at RCHQ. Superman sprays too much water on the track.

...oh! DLC coated kineibler pins and TiN coated curb feelers are some legit improvements over the past couple of years.

Well
2.4 radios are awesome. I hated getting runaways from some dude being on my frequency...
Tires...What a great selection of tires to choose from.
Big Bore Shocks
Suspension travel, especially the front end. Older cars had plenty of rear travel but limited front travel...
Weight. The newer cars are so light compared to older cars...
Engines. Great selection however I still like the p5 the best after all the years....go figure....
Servos...They used to die so much faster......
Personal transponders, but why do they cost 100 bucks, seems like price gouging to me....
I do miss club racing.....The bigger events have made everyone think they won't be a good racer unless they go to the big races...Whatever...
Lipo Starter box batteries....Nuff said....

FIRE!
I'm referring to Nitro in general.
I started playing with these toys in 1991 when I lived in Japan. My first truck was a Kyosho Double Dare, my buddy had a Clod Buster and Losi CR2.
I took a 26 year hiatus and walking through a Hobby Town a couple of years ago, I was amazed at what the hobby had evolved into. Needless to say, it's been amazingly fun getting back into the hobby - albeit a lot more expensive.
