Which Hex Drivers
Hi,
I'm in the market for a new set of hex drivers because i can't even touch a screw with my old ones now and it would strip. Anyway just wondering what the best drivers are out there. I have a set of integity oes now but they didn't last me very long.

I have used the Losi ones and they are actually not bad. They are no Hudy or Throp, but definitely will get the job done and will last awhile.

I have had good luck with my dynamite set. I have the SAE set. The only thing that happened is the size that was stamped in the handle wore off but I don't really pay attention to that anyway. I think they set me back $20.00. They have lasted me one whole season and if I had to buy another set next year $20.00 isn't going to kill me

The RC Pro Products Tools are very very good, specially for the price.

I just started a thread EXACTLY the same as this like 3 weeks ago and the feedback I got there led me to narrow it down to 3 brands.
1. Hudy
2. EDS
3. RC Pro
I went with EDS mainly because they got GREAT reviews...and the price point was right where I wanted to be. I ultimately got 12 tools for @ 110 shipped. Been using them for 1.5 - 2 weeks now....and I'm glad I went with EDS. I got both standard and metric sizes, a spring puller, and 2 ball hexes for less than the metric Hudy set was going to cost me.
So far I'm impressed with them...and they get my vote.
RC Pro was my # 2 since they look like pretty high quality tools, at an even better price point.

I have tried many different tool sets and wasted money and then I bought the hudy set. No more buying tool sets. I have tried proline (great handles but tips were junk from day one), dyn (1st set of tools I ever bought not bad for the money), team magic (great tools but the tips are short a good 2nd to hudy), hard carbon fiber (super cool to look at and expensive but not meant for 1/8 better suited for 1/10) I still use the tuning driver no one else has one so it's hard to loose) losi (tips burn out fast but great big handles) mip power tips for the hitachi power driver (these are my fav power tips the eds ones were very tight and the screws get stuck to them after you pull it out. Haven't tried the eds hand tools). Well I think that about covers it.
