If I'm not mistaken I recall hearing stories of guys using tire warmers (for TC) to pre-warm their heads. I doubt they work very well, you need heat in the case, not the head to properly warm up an engine. I have a $16 heat gun for applying monokote (RC plane covering) that allows me to get my engines up to ~160f before starting in just a couple minutes, much faster and hotter than a hair dryer. I only use it for break in.

I bought one of the warmers from powerhouse and it works great. Get in touch with him on their thread.

Yes Mark from powerhouse has them on ebay as well. They are more expensive on there however becuase ebays fees have increased so much. Just shoot him a PM or go to his website www.powerhousercperformance.com and email him. They work great and are very convienient. Engines should be pre-heated not just during break-in but always! There is no point for using it just for break-in when mechanical pinch will exist long after the first gallon(granted its a decent motor). Pre-heating a motor will increase the life of any motor drastically.

So these things wrap around the engine or some thing do they, Also are they direct plug in to the wall for use or do they run off a battery, Just was wondering if they were designed to run on 110v or if they would handle 240V here in Australia, That's what comes out of our wall here....
