I feel like such a noob asking this, but I want to make sure I get the right stuff for my new 353, so I don't buy useless crap.

Fuel:
Looking at Byron's 20% race, or Maxy's 20% race. Which one would be more recommended? I really want Tornado 16%, but I can't seem to find it in the US. Anyone know where I can get that?

Glow plugs:
What will I need? Cold, Medium, Hot?

Thanks

Been running Maxy's fuel for 3 years now and have not had a single engine problem and my internals look new.. I am currently running %16 and believe me it makes tons of power. You will not be disappointed if you choose Maxy's!!!

I've tried Maxy's, Byrons and Tornado, all 25%, all with good success. Really can't go wrong with either of them. A lot of people I know run a cold plug. The Ninja/GRP #7 is the hot ticket around here.

Default 359 '08 vs Flash .21 '09

Need your racer opinions...

I can get a good deal on both engines

1) 359 '08 (non-tuned) new in box for $395

and

2) Flash .21 (non-tuned) new in box for $580

by looking from both engines explosion sheets and just about every part is identical...correct if I am wrong about this.

Which engine would you get and why? I have less than 40 hours to make my decision.

help me thanks!

start quote"359 '08 is a .12 (2.1cc) engine for Touring car

Flash .21 is for an on road 1/8 scale car

this are 2 completely different engines so you must be looking at a wrong exploded parts sheets, the 2 engines couldn't have identical in parts."end quote

Nope. 359 '08 that I am referring to is this:
http://www.novarossi.com/content_uk/.../359race21.htm

The Flash .21 is here:
http://www.novarossi.com/content_uk/...-2/flash21.htm

and I think you are referring to the 353 '08 which is this:
http://www.novarossi.com/content_uk/.../353race12.htm

well, my question is still unanswered

ditto...I just don't want to pay for 2009's new looks and previous 2008's engineering....that Flash engine is damn expensive...even at $580

The flash is a mix between the 35+21 and 35+21LC
With the 359 they went to a smaller big-end on the conrod/crankpin, and with the flash they went back to the same crankshaft and conrod as in the 35+21...

Check all exploded views yourself, and look at the part numbers to see the difference.
