Hi Adam
I noticed on your 8 2.0 standard set up sheet you run #55 pistons up front with all 6 holes drilled with a #54 bit. Would that not be the same as using #54 pistons? What is the advantage of doing this?
Thanks

Well I'm not Adam but drilling a 54 will be slightly smaller than a molded 54. this would be like a half piston say a 54.5 which will yield a little more added pack or support in those shocks.

I was thinking it must be something like that but when I ran my #54 bit through a #54 piston they seemed like the same size.

Adam,
A friend told me you and the rest of the Losi team were at thunder alley this past saturday testing the 8t 2.0 and tires. When do you think you will come back to that track again?

adam i know you already have a ton of question to answer but i bought a 2.0 in early dec when i took it home and got it out of the box i noticed a bad gear slipping grinding sound when you rolled it. i took it apart and found it was coming from the front diff. after takeing it apart and saw no damage i started switching out gears and gear boxes till i found somehow the diff pinon gear was the problem.. you couldnt tell by looking at it but once i chaged it, the noise went away.. i called losi a few days later (Dec) and they told me they would send it right out.. two weeks later i still didnt get it, i called back on a monday they said they were very sorry and it would be rushed shipped on that wed. here we are almost 3 weeks later almost 2 months from when i frist called and still nothing and no one is answering the phone.. is there a number i should call to get this problem fixed? thank you

triloya- The Chassis makes the biggest difference, but all the little changes add up and improved the handling of the 2.0.
l3asher- The head is exposed, but protected by the body. If you flip, you should end up on the wing and top of the body. Not the engine head.
infanterene- You just need to grease the gears from time to time. Basically the same as you would with a standard diff.
l3asher- In the center and witht he truck you want to start with the set-up that comes on the smart diff.
Chris__RC- Mike and I plan on testing at Thunder Alley next week. Not sure which day yet.
HAWK498- Please call Bill Goldsmith @ (909) 390-9595 ext. 300.
losi_racer- What driveshafts are you asking about?
