Does anyone know if Tamiya released a thinner suspension block for the front-rear spot? When i tried to raise the suspension block, I realized that the belt is rubbing against the front-rear suspension block. It's impossible to have the same set up as the world-champ withouth the belt rubbing againist the block since he raised the suspension block so high.
Or did you all just mount the suspension block upside-down?

TRF: I took a dremel to a supsension block and created my own channel The idea is to remove the least amount of material while making sure that you have enough clearance for the belt. Yes it was time consumming, but hey you only need to do it once
Also, they did release a special block with the WCR kit. I tried to order it at one point, but never got it. There is a part number for it, but I don't know what it is anymore. Sorry.

I'm not sure if you all still using this car nor this matter already discuss, but if you need about 20% more of steering for your 414M (compared to original/manual setting), use this method;
Place the servo at its original place using the supplied (long) turnbuckle (not the other way around like the world champs)
Switch the position of front knucle C1/C2 from the manual so that if you were looking at the car from behind, C1/C2 words are upside down.
Use the outer hole of C1/C2 for steering turnbuckle, not the second hole like the manual suggest.
All of those mods is to adjust ackerman angle and you will feel it right away.
Hope it helps

Tech Adept
The evo3 blocks gives you over 4mm clearance of the belt. I have them on my car and highly recommend them.

The blue suspension blocks that come with the 414MII WRC are weak ! . From what I can tell, this is because of the amount of material that has been shaved off from the original silver block.
The info for the block is :
3454156, TAMIYA, Suspension Arm Block B (414M Worlds Replica Chassis - Blue)
I ordered mine from rainbow ten. I'll probably order some more since I have no more spare.
