Big loss for FSEARA, the R/C community and the Hagan family
A sad day today for all as we lost a longtime racer and friend of racing in general, Rocky Hagan. Rocky passed away today doing what he loved the most, R/C Racing.
AS difficult as it is for EVERYONE, the decison was made that we would continue and finish race #3 of the FSEARA series as Rocky would have wanted the racing to go on.
He will be missed by all his friends at FSEARA, his family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family..
Information on where condolances can be sent will be posted shortly.

Wow, this is sad to hear. He will certainly be missed. I've known him since I started racing the series and has always been a great help for advice on my cars. My prayers goes to his wife and family.

It is a sad day with the loss of a good friend and racer.
Rocky was one of the Great drives behind many of the Nationals at Minnreg.
He always had a Smile on his face no matter how his racing day went.
He will be missed.
God Speed Rocky.

the news of rockys death spread fast at stricklands saturday night.
i feel realy bad foir bill fraden, he has lost a couple good racing buddies in a short time.
maybe a memorial race at superior every year for rocky would make some nice donations for his family..even I would beg and borrow a car to run in the race for fun.maybe mr. fraden could lead the charge?

Rocky will be missed by us all. He truly was a very special friend to our family and we have many wonderful memories of racing with him. Just 2 weeks ago a small boy was running the vintage class and was having problems with his car and Rocky walked over to him on the drivers stand and gave the boy his radio and let the boy drive his car for the rest of the race - that was the only qualifier the boy got to finish - that was the kind of person Rocky was.
We will miss him at every race and he will always be with us in spirit.
Our prayers and thoughts to Joanne and his family for they have lost a very special person and we feel very blessed to have known Rocky and been able to spend some wonderful times with him and Joanne.

It was a shock to hear about Rocky yesterday. I work with him everyday. He has been battling cancer for over a year and told about a month ago that he was cancer free. He was looking better everyday. He was very devoted to his work and racing the state series was his biggest enjoyment in life. The Minnreg RC Club would have never started if it was not for him.
God Bless Rocky and his Family. He will be missed.

Our condolences to Rocky's family and friends from the Wynn family. Rocky truly defined what FSEARA and racing in Florida is all about.
Also a special thank you to Greg Hunsinger and the local spectator for giving their all.
