Hi, when talk about batteries, i'm a real noob. infact i'm noob in everything I have a question about receiver batteries, it is recommended to use 6V 1000mah flat/hump pack or 5pcs 2500mah AA batteries that soldered together? hmmm... which one lasts longer? is it ok to use cheap wall charger for these batteries? thanks.

Just use a hobby name-brand pack. Your frankenstein commercial pack would last longer for its first run but after that have fun trying to recharge it. Most decent receiver packs, depending on what servos you're running as well as any other gadgets like personal transponders, failsafes, or temp gauges, typically last around 8-10 tanks of fuel. That's some pretty good mileage, especially if you do like some people at the races and throw a quick "splash" of charge at it in the downtime between heats.

I'm driving a GS CL-1 buggy, my receiver is Spektrum Pro SM3001, TowerPro MG995 for steering and throttle. I think flat pack will fit. I saw somebody is selling 4200mah matched, I think this battery was used to power the EP car. can I use this battery? of course i'll remove one of it's cell so that the output is 6V. is this battery size is same size as 1xxx mah battery pack?

A reciever pack is made out of 2/3 cells (1/18 scale packs) the 4200 that you are probly talking about is called a sub c pack that is used on 1/10 electric r/c. hope this helps

Just to let you know the Stickman R/C 2500 pack on EBAY fits in my Mantis Rx box with a Spektrum micro and a PT. Lasts all day long!!!!!
