jiggamacdaddy - I would start somewhere in the 30 range... start what you think will be too low and go up from there.. I was running an 8x2 at 26/128 on a strack with a 110 (roughly) foot straight.
hicheef - yes, with the newer offset ones only... not with the original style

hicheef.....Losi has made a change to the rear hubs so they are beefed up....The last pack I bought off the shelf had the new updated hubs in the package.....so look for them. They are just a running change so the part number is the same but you can see where they added more material to make them stronger. I have had a problem with the old ones in the past but from what some team guys say these are much stronger and look it too.

The only thing I've broken a lot of is front A-Arms. I wonder if changing everything over to aluminum would be better, or would it just bend and deform rather than break? hmmmm....

Thanks for the input Guys!!!!
Madcap, I've considered the aluminum thing too but it's been my experience with other cars that if the aluminum doesn't bend(big if) the very next part up from it breaks so I guess If we were to get aluminum hubs we'd be replacing arms(assuming it is bad driving, in my case, and not weak parts). I really wanted to find out if anyone knew of any Factory issues with the latest batch og Graphite out of the Factory. Again, Yhanks for your time Guys!!!!!

Madcap,The aluminum bends, esp. the front hubs,I tried them,I did not like the fact that they bend.Your car will not handle to good with bent hubs.. The rear hubs break(the aluminum ones).Stick with the stock ones..and try not to hit things, that is what's working for me right now..

Yeah, it seems that I can get the car working great, and it turns around and tells me "Well, now that I'm dialed, you will hit this wall" and bammo, I break something. So Im just going to stick with the regular stuff.

Madcap.... and now the car is talking to ya?? Oh boy - sounds like I am going to have fun on friday with that one!! As for the aluminum parts... stay away from them!! once a part bends... the car will begin to act strange... not badly, but enough to keep the car from handling anywhere near correctly!! BUT - when it comes to breaking arms.... quit hittin stuff ... lol

Hi There.
Is there any difference in the normal xxx-s and the rtr xxx-s (of coarse the electronic are included in the rtr) but is it the same chassis and stuff?
