It's often said that imitation is the best form of flattery.

With that said, I have seen some "other battery matchers" advertising a modified version our release date and claiming to be the first in the industry to do such a thing.

Just to set the record straight, Speedzone was the first to pioneer and label every cell with a release date. We did this back in 2005 because we wanted to provide our customers with all possible data about the cell, track a cell's historical data and ensure that clients were getting "fresh cells". We continue to do this today and are proud to say that we were the FIRST in the industry to offer a release date on every cell.

It's great to see other matchers starting to copy us...it proves that a small company can be at the forefront!

Speedzone will now carry the Grepow SC4200 NiMH Cell

This cell has shown great promise with runtime and reliability exceeding our expectations. In addition, the Grepow SC4200 cell has proven to be a lighter, more consistent cell, with no drop-off and minimal self-discharge when compared with other cells available in today’s R/C market.

We are excited about this new venture and will continue to supply our customers with quality battery packs at affordable prices. In the coming months, we will work directly with Grepow to improve this already impressive cell and further increase its performance.

Cells are currently available through the Speedzone website. As always, we continue to offer very competitive pricing, often the lowest in the industry, without sacrifice to quality or service!

All Grepow matched Cells will be labeled with our standard matching information, including the cells release date, which was first introduced by us over 2 years ago, in 2005.

Visit the Speedzone website for the latest pricing on the Grepow SC4200s and the Intellect IB4200s.

Pretty in pink eh Gavin

It will be nice to see cells that don't require constant looking after!

Pink is in style. And its ROAR Legal!

This cell will be a contender without the headaches of dead cells, vented cells or self discharged cells.
