glide 1- if you want to use washers to compensate for bump steer put them under each ball stud on the steering arm on the knuckle for both sides. before you add the washers measure your toe at ride height, then compress the suspension half way or so and measure the toe at that point. i use a good dial caliper to do this. then repeat this after adding bumpsteer washers. try to find the right amount to give you the most consistent toe amount throughout the suspension travel. this is the way i do it. hope that helps.

hey guys

i am about to pick up my FT tc3, from a local guy. It has Everything from factory, then he added niftech bearings, blue aluminum driveshaft. Plus a perfectly painted Volvo body.
Woohooo!BTW its only $100, and it is in perfect condition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyways, since it has niftech bearings, should i remove the seals on my bearings? so it can free roll for a long time? or does free rolling not afffect much on the track?
the only thing i can think of putting on it is the Wide bumper, i think its made by BRP, right?

Go for the RPM bumper!! it looks way cooler and doesn't bend/break!!!!

Definately go with the rpm bumper and add the trinity foam bumper on top. With this combo I havent broke yet (knock on wood!)

ricerockets: don't mess with the bearing seals, niftech bearings are real smooth and don't need the seals removed. Besides those things are expensive enough as it is, don't ruin them.

You can clean them out with motor spray periodically and relube them with Trinity Royal Oil and they'll be fine.

The key to a free drivetrain is in the diff cases and the shims on the drivecup/input shaft assembly not so much the bearings.

AND is there any other companies that make carbon fiber chassis's other than IRS and Megatech?

Warpspeed makes one. Looks nice. I'm just not too willing to drop $200 on the slight advantage you may get (depending on who you talk to) with a CF chassis. I do think they look bad ass.

Hi guys, i need help with my tc3. How do I get more on- power steering? Off-power, my tc3 has lots of steering but on-power it pushes a lot. As a result, I am very slow in the corners because I have to fully release the throttle in order for my car to be able to make the turn.
