MikeyG: 2 completely different cars. Shocks and wheels carried over, and front u-joints. (some other assorted bits here and there). I can confidently say the V2 pro is worlds away (and better) than the V1 pro. I have owned and raced both.

Focus: for dirt oval, take them off, run as lean as you have to. Put some chassis protectant tape down, just in case you ride the pipe. You must be geared pretty agressive to have heating issues. I have opened my body similar to Mike Kazz, running a Mamba brushless system 3800~4200's, geared 19/78. Motor came off the track 120~130 degrees all day today (bright and sunny day is SoCal).

I am geared 16/80 with a LRP 14T Double . I figured out my problem though I think . The Integy fan works when I first turn the car on but not after I get going . The fan I haven't hooked up like Mike said to yet , as I only have it plugged into the Rx . I am going to solder it directly to esc this evening .
As for the performance in my first race . It was awesome . It handles great and was fast with the 14t . The first heat I won but not many laps , about 54 I think . The second heat I ran myself because the only other 4wd mod broke in the first heat . I was running low 5's and was ona 58 lap pace , I pulled it off after I found out how well it could do though ( as to not slow the rest of the race night up any ) . That pace rivals my 18T with a mamba 5400 . The only thing is the steering link pops off almost every time I give the inside wall a little love tap ( hehe ) . Anyways this car is awesome .

Hey everyone, been a bit busy at the shop.. Finally got a couple pics of the test track we have outback at the shop here... It is basicly hard packed clay/dirt mix... The lanes are 9-10ft wide.. We are building a drivers stand this coming weekend and installing the lights for night time fun... The SBV2 has been working excellent... The stock tires work awesome on this surface and the Diggity Designs shock towers have still held up . Missed the first MARS series race here in Michigan this last weekend but we will be attending the rest of the series with the SBV2..

later, Damon

Diggity: Nice track. The kit tires do work very well on a variety of surfaces.

For those who may be interested, I will be selling my SB V2 Pro and its various items as schedule conflicts won't allow me to really race it at all this year. So if anyone is on the fence and wants an SB V2 Pro with alot of parts msg me.

Thank you again Dave and MRC for allowing to come this far with the team. Looking forward to great things from MRC / Academy.

Cain: Sorry to hear that, keep the keyboard warm...

Damon: Looks great, I love my towers also, great fit and finish, adds some CF bling to the ride too...

I ran this past weekend on a very large track (200 X 100), nice a loamy, ifmar pins/big shots, with blockheads/sprints/holeshots of front were the tires of choice. Car was really planted, track was quite challanging, it was designed as a wide open 1/8th & truggy layout, so even in mod 4wd, we had a hard time clearing some of the jumps. I am still getting my set up and my driving to gel, but layed down some good laps, just need to work on consistancy. cant say enough about the Mamba, just awesome.

For those of you guys who want the feel of a typical emulsion type shock (bladderless) you can flip the shock bladder upside down so that the bladder gully is facing the shock cap instead of being faced down into the shock body. Running a shock like this means that you can build your shocks with pressure, they are now bleedable, and will feel (on the track) more like an AE or LOSI type shock. Just another tuning option that this car has without spending any more $$$$.

Default Mamba Max

I am going to get the 5700 Mamba Max . What be a good starting point for gearing ? I am using the 80 tooth spur atm . I use the Mamba in my 18T and I love it , besides it's going to be cheaper for me in the long run to run brushless .

When I had my SB V2 Pro (vehicle and parts on ebay right now), I settled on a 17 tooth pinion. This worked quite well. Lots of power and ran quite well. The included heatsink worked well too on a brushless motor.

Would be the perfect spot for a Diggity Designs Invitational Who knows, I might have to cough up $100 for each A-main winner!! We will have to work on that
