We had 5 racers here on Saturday. I bought sugar after a few test runs and Jeff treated the track for us. The pan car was fast. I ran the full couse with the Nitro touring cars.

We had 5 racers again last Saturday. If we get another 5 next Saturday we will have a nice high traction groove form. Come on out.

I have been out the last 2 Sundays running my 1/5th motorcycles. I gotta say that track is really nice. Kinda interesting trying to get the motorcycle to make a few of the turns, but it should be great with a touring car.

Shark

I forwarded your post to the race director. Good luck over there.

We had 7 guys out for Saturday Practice. Two 1/8 scale, two Nitro Sedans and several electrics. Come on out and join the fun this Saturday.

RC Shark=You're Welcome. Jeff plans to mail you a shirt when they are available. No cost.

We had about 15 guys out running Today on Saturday. Jeff had treated the track with sugar water. The recent rains had made it very clean. Traction was outstanding. There were quite a few 1/10 Nitro touring cars. One 1/5 motorcycle an electric truck and one Bad A$$ pan car with touring body. Come on out and join the fun. The number of people running contributes to good traction as a nice race groove is laid down.
John
Staltus-good to meet you and Dianne at the track.

John is was nice meeting you as well. I wish that I had realized I had spun the rear tire off the rim earlier. I thought I was having traction issues. I was wondering to myself if I had gotten chain oil on the tire or if the foam from the car tires was making it slick. Once I switched to a tire that was on the rim, the bike calmed down and I looked less incompetent, but by that point I expect most people had given up on watching it. Think I am gonna switch back to a brushless motor, that stock motor just doesn't cut it now that I am getting the hang of things.

I gotta say I was impressed by your pan car. I might have to setup my L2 and bring it out. I kinda like 2wd cars. That and I really like GTP bodies better than TC bodies. Of course if I start running it, I will have to get Dianna to paint me up a nicer looking body that the one that came with it. I'll have to re-learn how to drive cars on a track, since I was running LTO all last year.

Now I just have to meet Robert Rocha, he chats on the THRC site but in my 3 trips out there, I haven't run into him.

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've been in the RC world. Use to race every weekend while in college (early 90's). Now two kids later, been thinking about getting back into the game. Just curious what everyone was running. I have a HPI RS4 Pro 2 that I just dusted off, and actually ran in my cul-de-sac yesterday, do you think it is an antique?? Let me tell ya, I'm not as good as I use to that's for sure. Thinking about showing up this Saturday to check out the track. Just thought I drop a line. Hope to see some action tomorrow.

Should do fine with the car. Every experience level will be at hand Saturday. Run what you brung. The track may get a sugar water treatment for high traction.

Thanks for the vote of confidence!! Actually, I may just watch tomorrow, as I have NO experience on this track. But I may bring my car and just fool around during off racing times.

Default Sunday

Yes people do run on Sunday, bear in mind that the shop doesn't open until 11.00am. There are generally more people there on Saturday. Unfortunately the rain messed today up
