Thumbs up Whoa!!

Got a chance to eyeball this car in Vegas.. Very cool design..

And a stellar performance on the track as well.. Dumas, Hodge, Chicky and Gray (don't know if he was piloting one) all had cars/set-ups to be reckoned with..

I missed you all at the KO.. Good to see yall lay it down in Vegas..

That is my car. We only had three new Type R's at the event. Chicky and Gray used the Type R Proto's.

Randy decided to move on to Tamiya the weekend before the IIC. His decision was based on being more prepared for the event since he was not able to be prepared enough with the TL car as he wanted to be.

Just a few quick question's I still have:
+ what size of spur will be standard ?
+ are the pinion's for this car 48dp ?
+ will front and rear swaybar's be included in the kit ?
+ will there be a new one way developed or will it use an existing one way
and if so what is the part number for this one way ?
+ when will the manual be available for online reading so I can get a look
at the details of the car build ?

Thanks
The car will come with a 128t spur gear.

However you can use Team Losi or PRS 48 pitch gears for the car. If you use PRS you will need the spur gear adapter.

No sway bars will be in the kit. The sway bar kit is $12.00

There will be a new oneway.

The manual will be available around the release of the car.

So where's that guy telling us all how bad this new car will be? Wonder if he watching the live feed of Dumas getting hammered on the start dropping all the way to LAST......and then wheel it all the way back to 2nd.....and made a push for the top spot......while turning the fastest lap of the main.....probably sat there thinking to himself "man I sure looked like an idiot about the crap I said on the internet"

Congrats to my boy Dumas on his finish....and congrats to homie Andrew Gray for finally getting himself into the A.....you deserve it bud.....I do think the key was the team br00d batteries you were running.... :P

I will be waiting for my car Todd:P ( I did my part! )

Later EddieO

Howd you guess-all my sedan and parts, much of my support equipment from the Vegas race will be on the for sale forums VERY shortly!! Like as soon as my three boxes of stuff gets shipped back to me!! You know me too well.

I am NOT sayiing that I wont be purchasing a JRXS type R very soon though-its just way to cool to pass up and its way to fast!!

I want to congratulate the entire team on a job well done. Dumas was awesome. He lost some ground in the mod main and was in 10th on the first lap only to finish a few tenths behind Blackstock at the end.

Chicky was on fire in round 4, on a top 3 run to have a screw fall out of his caster block.

Gray-Great job...hard work pays off.

Hebert-What a wheel you are we will be there in Cleveland.

To the rest of the team, great job to Xavier, he ran the new narrow diffs in his front engine car to finish third in the stock foam A-Main.

In 19T rubber it was Mike Haynes finishing 6th.

Overall no matter if we used the Type R, Type R Prototype or Front Engine car the entire team ran great!!

Next stop.....Halloween Classic!

Thanks for the info Todd,

do you perhaps already know the internal ratio of the car ?
That way I can figure out which spurs are best suited for my kind of tracks.

Looking forward to the car becoming available and I think I am definitely switching over from my current Xray T2.

Thanks

Todd-will there be a one-way available in time for the Halloween Classic? I will more than likely be running rubber tire class there. I'd like to run a type R with one-way!!

Congrats to Mike and Andrew, and Mike Haynes. You guys rocked in vegas.

Looks like good things come to those who wait. It's going to be a GREAT year.

The drive ratio is the same as the JRXS 1.83:1.
