Thanks Jack. Also I heard that some people use the TA05 belts as well. Anyone still using the 415 belts with this setup or TA05 is the way to go?

That's what I thought, but I think I've (mis)read people using them with the pulleys.

TA05 has equal length belts. 415 has long and short belt. If you can get the TA05 belts to fit your name must be God

With the Hooby Fair on in Japan this week, Tamiya is planning on releasing a ton of stuff.

Most notably is the Evo5 chassis, but also a host of goodies for the TA05.

Buth this is one that caught me by surprise

TRF501 offroader Download the Tamiya Movie

Check out the short video on the R10 site. There is usually extensive coverage of this toy fair, so if you find a site with pics let us know.

Does anyone remember that Jap site i think it was called "Kiyano" he normally had great, detailed pics of the show.

Besercoe might be back in the dirt.

I wonder if it will be legal in Aus TCS as it will be unfair to the Australian rep if his running a DF02-03 against a TRF501

Hmmmmmm, certainly a surprise. Interesting to see how it fairs on the track compared to the competition.

It looks remarkably similar to the new Yokomo buggy.

Yes exposed diffs do look a bit of a worry. Hopefully they have covered up things better than in the 415.

My sources in Japan have confirm today that the 416 platform will be based on this buggy and most likely that 2 protos will be used for the worlds

I also forgot to mention that Karn is returning as Tamiya's No.1 driver (Evo 5) and that Reinhard will join the HB team along side Hara
