Can someone tell how the O.S. .12TZ modded by Murnan performs against the other modified motors.. Reason I ask is becuz O.S. is very reliable and holds tunes well, anyways I figured if it can still be reliable and be modded to give better performance would it be worth spending 330.00 coin on it.. Thanks

Thumbs up

the Murnan Modified EvoIII with the conical header @ 1.10 HP is the leader in the HP race.

WOW....Murnan EVOIII produces better dyno number than JP!!!!!

I estimate 16-17 % with the Sirio, and with the LS3 somewhere around 20-22 %. I will know exactly in the near future. I will also be dyno testing the Nova with ceramic bearing in the rear.

I have not dyno tested the stock vs mod. I will soon. I can tell you the mod os is much faster than the stock one throughout the powerband.

aGeS1272....The mod TZ is almost as fast as the mod Novarossi engines. I notice the most difference at the end of a long straight. The Nova's seem to have more power higher in the rpm range, with similar bottom and midrange power. The Sirio has the most power up top. A short conical header really wakes the TZ up. I will have some dyno results with some hard figures sometime after Winternats in February.

What Header comes standard with the Skyline VR-12 pipe? Is it a short conical header?

Thank you so much Grinder, Much Respect.. I just want an modded engine that is very easy to tune and will hold a stting.. See I am not the worlds best driver so I don't need super fast. But I have been driving for a couple of years and it's more important to me to finish the race not to be the first across the line.. but I do want to win that would be nice but not important.. I just have fun running my car.. Any suggestions on a engine would be welcome. I also have an Sirio Evo 3 on order should be here Monday. But still waiting for the weather to break in St. Louis

Hi Grinder! I'm going to change the bearings of my .12 engine. If I decide to put beramic bearings in the rear, do I have to put ceramic bearings in the front as well?
Maybe we can be your distributor/dealer in the Philippines. Please email me at [email protected].
Hope to hear from you.

Thanks!

Michael
