Team Durango DETC410v2
#106
Yes, it seems it got quite a bit cheaper over here. €249 now... used to be €349, I believe. Oh and Durango belongs to Hobbico, but the original designer (Gerd Strenge) is from Germany, I think.

Is there something wrong with this car? It seems to be almost a clone of the xray and is about 100 dollars cheaper, but not many seem to like it or talk about it much ??

$100 cheaper? More around $270 cheaper over here (it's available for 249€ while the Xray T4 2016 is 489€ at the same store.) A lot of car for very little money. It's even supposed to drive very well. Only the v1 was said to be a little fragile, but with the new plastics on the v2 plus maybe an xray hard bumper that should no longer be a real problem. No idea why so few people seem to use it. A friend of mine bought the v1 cheap when the v2 came out, but he has still not built it yet.

It's a good car especially the V2. The problem is that TD is not actively developing the car and to my knowledge, has discontinued their driver program as well as possibly given up on TC all together. It's sad really, as the car has a ton of potential. Hobbyco is a big company and likely unwilling to support a class that isn't profitable like off-road. I will continue to run mine as long as parts are available.
