Should I go ahead and buy the differential kit before I build tomorrow?
Diff kit, aluminum diff cover, and diff oil? If so, what weight?

I was planning to reuse my Hitec 7955TG servo in the RB6. I've always ran it at 7.4v at 375oz of torque. That just seems a bit high to me, and I would love to trade half the servo torque for more servo speed.
Building stopped as fast as it started..
Very disappointing, part UM718 assembly shafts with a nut on the end, were not included. I cannot find them in any bag.
They are the main support shafts, that the steering rack, and bearings bolt to.

Putting all the parts in the box is another story.
That sucks.
Stick with it. They really are good cars.
Lol. Everything is good! One of my kids "toddlers" grabbed a bag out of the RB6 box . I found the parts!
Build is super smooth, Kyosho instructions... Well, there Kyosho instructions lol that's another story!
Best quality I've seen in RC kits! Ever! Kyosho is amazing, they are worth the extra bit of $
All Delrin CNC conical shock parts, hard plastics! Everything fits like a glove.
I can't believe it. Great kit.
Did you guys shim the front A-arms? Mine are snug without shims, and fall freely. No binding at all. Just curious because it has shims attached. But, I guess there for the knuckles/ hubs

you just put a screw on top of the shaft to secured steering rack. please check your manual, page 12.

For suspension parts I have stayed with Kyosho with a few of Schelle steering racks thrown in and everything has been dependable. Be sure to shim your rear arms if you go to metal hinge pin holders.
The nut is not removable on the UM718 it's just so it can be keyed in to the bulk head. I just had both UM718's missing all together. But I found them.
So far so good. I am fairly slow at building kits, but I try to make sure everything is perfect. I'm about to start back at it today , and finish it up.
I hope this not a issue, but I finished building the ball diff. It is very smooth! I used all of my white gear grease assembly on the diff. so, I had to use the black graphite grease in the gear box. Is that OK? Everything turns super smooth. Diff is great.
Assembly is correct, but I used black cvd grease on the idler gears etc.etc.

RZ6 Conversion
The wait is almost over.

This conversion replicates the car used by Jared Tebo at the World Championship held in Japan. It features a very efficient shaft drive, which is ideally suited to stock class racing and favors medium to high bite tracks. This is a conversion that is intended for current RB6 owners only.
Expected availability: End of April

I wonder if those are legit 2.2 sized chainlinks and typos on that car or if they are mounted using the conversion kit.
Anyway, here is the setup that I used at the 2016 Spring Classic - Bluegroove Hobbies & RC Raceway in West Des Moines Iowa. Maybe something on it will work for you, not sure.
