Yes, I saw that. Not much left of that stuff. Not to mention the risk ( if indoors ) to others & the track

Questions??

Picked up the CRC GenX-10 SE World GT kit along with a set of Mounted RT1 Tires - GTR Wheels this week (Thanks to John Firsching for the help). Still need more stuff (motor, misc. stuff).

What parts (CRC #'s appreciated) to give me the proper ride height (?) front and rear?

I read in this thread that I would need a pack of #3219 shims and 5/16" x 4-40 FH screws for the rear. Is #1426 the correct number for the screws?

What do I need to get for the front?

Any and all help greatly appreciated

Upon further reading into the kit instructions I have the 3440 & 3442 "Tall Tire" Slider Motor Plate and Left Plate. I'm guessing I'm good to go?
Really like to have everything on hand before starting the build...

For my car I used 1 1/2mm spacers under the front plate and rear blocks.

Can you show me pictures and/or provide part numbers for what you used?

It's very simple just get some 1 1/2mm spacers from anyone. You will need 8 total. You'll probable need some longer 4/40 screw. I got them elsewhere. In the front you put the spacers under the front end mounting plate (4). Do the same for the rear pod plate- you'll need longer screws again. I hope that helps.

I put the tall tire pod on my old Gen-X so no spacers are needed on the rear. The big advantage is being able to put any spur and pinion combo that adds up to 177 teeth. On our current layout I run a 120/50

Since this is a CRC car, couldn't he just use the plastic front end risers that come with the kit for the front?
That's what I did. I just used the 3mm riser and added 2mm shims in the back with the high axle inserts.

I have not tried the Caddy in this class. My favorite is the C6 Vette from HPI. But most of the guys at the birds used the 911 Porsche GT.A few also used the Z28. Your Caddy looks good. I do use the Caddy in USGT.

V_Squared's caddy is one the best handling cars I've seen.

It's time for me to get some bodies...

I've always been a huge fan of the Porsche 911 series so have been looking at the HPI #7418 911 GT3 in 200mm.

Anybody used one?
Mounting tips?
Wing tips?

One of the guys we race with uses this body and is happy with how it works. Not sure what he has done wing wise (Bull Frog may know). I'll take a look at it Sunday.
