Just ordered this kit today. Was wondering when you order the aluminum rear hangers can you use the stock a arms and can you use z4-008rs4 and what is the difference between the two?

hmm
Marc Rheinard was using it centered: http://eos.redrc.net/2016/01/chassis...marc-rheinard/
Lee Martin had it opposite to the motor but with what looks like added weight on the left side of the battery: http://eos.redrc.net/2015/11/chassis...-lee-martin-8/
What are your opinions gents?

How could you know that having the battery on the opposite side of where the motor is achieves perfect L/R balance? By what one can see with the naked eye it may look like that but, Has anybody actually used a scale and done the maths for this? I mean unless you managed to precisely calculate the weight of all the electronics and parts your buggy has on each side...

The car is well balance like this, that's why I have made this battery rack.No more weight to set the position of the shorty.
On the Front Left - Read 392gr.

I was having a Issue with Rear end stepping out I put diff balls front and back plus I looked at marc Reinhart And lee's car they both look like they raise their transmission and Rear camber link up 2 mills from the pictures. I'm still working on the set up I got most of the rear locked in.

Not sure they raise the transmission...the blue shims you have seen on the photos exist yet in plastic shim in one
Piece.
If they raise the Rear transmission they have to raise all, including the top deck...and it is not the case...

Innline centered battery is only recomended for very high bite carpet etc. it takes away chassis roll and makes the car less edgy on this surface.
For dirt I would have run the battery sideways for more sidebite.

Just got a email yesterday from place I ordered my kit it's outta stock. Bummed out was a great deal. Anyone know where else I can pick one up at a good price close to what rc market had them on for?

Possibly try Race Drift Japan. They had some killer deals back when the kit was first released, which I believe at that time on could purchase a kit for under $350 thus included 3-5 day shipping to the US. I would highly doubt if they had prices that low but it is worth a try. Tim at Race Drift Japan is a super nice fella.
