It's quite offtopic, but I think its the fastest way to a good answer:

I a running a Sonic M2 8.5T and an GM Genius Race II 80R. My programming card says the motor is 2 pole (i can switch to 4 pole).
Do I have to swtich to 4pole?

Without any knowledge on that speed control, i would say no since you aren't using a 4 pole motor...

If I want to tighten my b5m up, what is the best way to do that? Do I shorten or lengthen the rear ball link and or raise or lower the inner ballstud? Thanks

after years of not racing 2wd, I have ditched all my old stuff, looking for some clarification on front rims. I bought a set of Proline velocity 2.2's to mount my shumacher low profiles on. The rims seem way to wide, almost 4wd front width. Can someone measure their 2wd fronts and post the width of them?

I thought you guys are maybe interested in the lowrider gearbox I've designed for some of my club colleagues:

The first prototype has already been printed and will be tested at a indoor race in czech republic this weekend.

Greetings

Stephan

When running said tires, it is required to cut the inside rib off the wheel and glue the tire to the existing rib...

Have a look here

Jconcepts had some narrow wheels for the world's event so drivers didn't have to go through the hassle of cutting them down. Not sure if they are planning to produce those or not

Thanks. That's what I thought but it didn't seem right. Not a problem to do the cutting.

Not much going on around here Chris. Been messing about at the carpet track in Manhattan. Got one more event there then I'll be switching all my AE cars back to dirt setups for Jakes
