Go to falconsekido and consider the hobbywing v3, great price on these as they expect the new 3.1's very soon. No issues w/ any type of motor, I've run one of these in my losi scte for about a year now, replaced 1 fan i must say the xerun motor is by far the best choice out there still imo. (4k is personal fav)

I was running for them but now run for Tekin. The r10 will need the 4pole software loaded if you do not already have it.

250mm should work just fine. Just keep in mind the location of the sensor plug on the esc and if you run a 550 motor.. Its a long run! The way I mounted my RX8 is the closest it gets to the motor.

Thats the 275mm installed. Aluminum steering arm was not included. That is the one for a 22.

Ryan, I do have a question... The shock caps in my kit were the ones that were way way way too tight.. They got a little hacked up getting them to tighten flush with the shock body. Do I need to replace them or can it wait until I do a rebuild?

Yeah. I'm hoping not more than $500. I live in Alaska though. In the past month, I have bought an E-truggy and two SC10s. I forgot to mention the SCTE to my wife! Yikes!

Ouch. I would think you should have been able to get it for $450ish out the door....? Once Amain gets them and others you could use discount monthly codes and get one for around $425 most likely.

When I had a "semi" local hobbytown usa about an hour and a half away one way they would give you a $5 off gift certificate for every $50 spent. Do they still do that?

Nope, haha if I got a 5$ gift card for every 50$ I'd have almost 200$ in free stuff

My old one would also price match any other hobby store in the town's prices on the same items. He even matched a tower price once before. Too bad the manager was an idiot who stocked only stuff nobody would buy and they didn't last two years hardly before going out of business....

Ryan and I both run for Tekin now. Ryan did run for Orion for a while and had issues running a R10. Orion claimed it was a problem with sensors and they were going to update the software to compensate but I am not sure if it ever happened. RX8 is the way to go. R10 will power the motors but may default into sensorless mode.
