Default Great motors!

EA

finally got a chance to race again at socal last night.. it was nice to be able to race again. your motors are top notch. i was only .4 second per lap off the fastest guys. but im sure a dirty car (havent rebuilt it in 3 weeks, old tires, batteries (when are yours coming out? hint hint) and not as tight a driving line contributed to the .4 second per lap difference. i know it wasnt the motor!

my car definitely had the horsepower to keep up! thanks again!

tc3.. you raced at the mazda cup right? i wish i had an EA monster stock then. i think i could have done 23 laps and keep up with the pro stock guys. pick up one of his monsters (i havent tried the epics because i dont know the gearing for them yet), you wont regret it.

35 amp is my choice. I have run a lot of 35 amp packs now and they always feel faster at end of race and the whole run for that matter than a comparable 30 amp pack. Makes sense. The higher the discharge -the closer the match. Batteries matched at 20 amps wont look like matched packs at 30 and he same goes for 35 amp. The numbers are starnge at first-but you get used to them quickly. I ecenty bought about 6 35 amp packs and they were all 1.163 to 1.166 voltage and anywhere from 358 to 366 runtime as I recall.

Thats about the same as a high 1.17 pack.

Hope this helps. EA-Your gonna be swamped with orders-remember I want some right now!!! I'll e-mail ya an order!!!

Anyone else tried an EA Monster in an EVO4 yet?

Goes like a train. I tried 30/96 and 32/96, but I reckon 31 is probably about right, but guess which pinion I didn't have

EA...

Was wondering on how many colors are available on your decal sheets. Here's my ride during the ROAR Reg. 12 race and I'm glad the decals that came with the motors you sent matched my scheme... I saw hebiki had some orange/brownish ones, but was wondering if you have more choices coming up. Btw, thanks again for the power... can't wait to try out your new batteries as well.

I agree-his current set-up for the ROAr stock doesnt do doodly on a Fantom dyno's front page numbers, but if you look at amps vs. Watts in a seperate screen-you see how much power his motors are producing. But you can make a ROAr stock scream on the Fantom dyno-but it wont run as well on the track as his do. Thats why hes the motor builder!
