Thanks. I may give that a look then and just balance it out with my scales.

Right now I got a Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro ESC on its side on the spur gear side. With that I had to do a variety of zip ties to get the wires to clear properly

Got pics of your setup?

Also, how much ESC overhang on the chassis do you guys find acceptable?

did some 17.5 blinky running this past weekend with sweeps blue tires. Will post more actual setup info, but have a general question.

The vehicle was good, was one of the few without traction rolling issues but noticed that depending on how sharp the turn was, I could get slight lift on the inside rear wheel. It was only on a very fast 180ish turn.

In general, what do you find you do to eliminate that?

All in all, the vehicle was great. I just need to up my power a bit but forgot how much fun 1/10 touring was. And usually being an AE fan, I enjoyed the losi JRX-S Type R. wish losi would make a run with this again.

but what comes to mind...how much droop are you running?

went to no droop in the rear and I believe 5mm up front. Did the no droop in the rear based on a VTA setup sheet I saw. I think that did help a lot.

I would think if you're lifting the inner rear that you are overloading the outer front on entry. Does the car have a ton of steering in general?

Possibly.

I might try to settle the RR down before a FR suspension change. If your RR shocks are not already mounted at the innermost position(at the tower) I'd try that alone real quick to see if that keeps the rear from rolling more than necessary. Basically, I think you want to head toward the direction of keeping more weight on the inner rear from entry thru to corner center. If that makes the steering a bit more stable & predictable but still not enough, then I'd try stiffer FR springs.

By the way, I noticed when checking out my vehicle that its drivetrain has gotten really tight, won't free roll like it was before. Anything I should look into as possible areas where it could be binding?

try running 2mm over ride height front and back.
run ur rear camber link at the furthest hole and the longest link.this will help keep the rear of the car planted.
what pistons you running and what spring combination?

Got the camber link on the rear longest setting as well as lowest setting on the tower. Definitely generated more grip.

I am running the red pistons front and rear (thats what the car came with) 10.5 springs on the rear, 15's up front.

Shocks on the rear as inner most hole on the tower, outer hole on the a-arm.

Front shocks are outer hole on the tower.

didn't have time to change oils but I believe they are 40W up front, 35W rear.

Got the 57 pistons (black) on order as I believe the setup I wanted to use had these up front.

That all sounds exactly like my general setup. I'd try 17.5 front springs for sure.

Are you running sway bars? Depending on track conditions, my car worked the best overall with an .030 up front with the links mounted so about 5-6mm of the bar extends past the link.

Do you know offhand what the screw sizes that work in the fan mounts?

Long-ish 2-56 screws fit in the fan mounts, the type-R was made back when Losi still did standard size screws.
