Got the Ligier never build(bodykit) and got also the Ferrarri 412T1.
Problem is now that i have a F104WPRO that runs even better then my F103.
Now i have dilemma, selling the body kits or making a F103 shelfqueen
The benneton body is still here also but no decals as i have used them for another body.
Found also a Benneton B192 body from Kyosho but that one is missing the front and rear spoiler.
It has the decals tho.
If some one is looking for them.....well.....

regards Roy

Hopefully the F104 does not go the way of the F201 once Japan lost interest in that car. Guess I might just hold onto my couple of F103's and parts just in case.

100% spot on. Let's hope though that they dust off the F201 arm molds and figure a way to make a new kit out of it

As much as I'd like to see Tamiya do a 2wd independent suspension car...please not with the F201 arms! Those were a terrible design!

Reassembled the Corally F1 mk1 (yes, the 'cheater car' as people so affectionately call it. A lot of folks here have one), as the F109 broke down, and I wanted to see how it went. Improved my fastest F109 lap by about 1.5 seconds, but that's not a complete surprise, as the car was set up for this track, and I have driven it here for years. We know what works well tyre-wise. Had about .3 seconds on the fastest F109, which in turn had .2 seconds on the next Corally; we're still looking for a good tyre setup there. Despite it being practice, racing between the Corallies and F109 was tight, so much fun was had. All cars were running the Tamiya Formula-tuned 32T brushed motor.

There were a couple of F104s, but they were running on rubber (because they run in the ETS series) , and about 1.5 secs slower. Unfavourable lighting conditions didn't help them either, as both were running fairly dark bodies. At least one of those was running at 190mm width.

One thing I did notice when working on both cars: working on the Corally is a breeze compared to the F109. Personally, I think the 'edge' on the Corally here is down to it feeling right for my driving. The tyres just worked for me. The other technical bits were of less importance, as the motors are too underpowered to make that a real benefit, imho... as is evident by the other Corally being slower than the F109 (in the hands of a capable driver). All drivers involved have fought for podium places in the F1 nats back in the days.

And a pic just to upset some people

Like mentioned the advance are low drag. The rear advance is still quite high down force but the front wing might as well not be there. Great if you want a car stable at high speed causes a push.

The standard front wing has better corner entry at high speed only place you'll feel any difference.

From what i can gather through testing of my own the 3 racing f109 front wing is monumental levels of front grip but the matching rear blows.

If you can land a ligier f103 high nose front wing, trg standard rear and chevron diffuser.
You'll have triple the aero grip of the f104
Thanks for the advice. I tried the trg regular front wing and it definitely had more front downforce. Problem is it still broke. It definitely was able to take a beating much better though (had a tough tangle while lapping a car which wedged my front wing under a barrier)

Would love to get my hands on the ligier front wing but am hoping to find something that is more easily available. Would something like the f109 front wing be able to be fitted with the ferrari f60 body for the f104?

We have had corally f1 cars competing in our series for 7 years and it is yet to win a race. The biggest problem with them has been the wheels tend to break with one hit on the barriers. The cars is now defunct due to the fact we race now with 103 rubber and have not yet managed to figure out a way to mount them on a corally. Had the same issues with wheels on the hpi super f1, but with the hpi f10 releasing the foam only rear diff, i now have rubbers mounted to the super f1 and this chassis loves the rubbers!

They pop up on e-bay every often.
You could also use the Benneton B195 nose as it is the same.
If your willing to pay the postall to where ever you are i am willing to sell the Ligier bodykit

Above is our brand new widening shim kit. I used this shim kit to fine tune my TRG111 at the ROAR Carpet Nats en route to TQ and fastest lap of the weekend. Most F1's with rubber tires are actually close to 183-184mm, so these allowed me to make my car wider to gain stability without going over max width. I actually ended up running my car at 188F and 188 rear. It is really nice to be able to adjust your car in 0.5mm increments. Track width is a very important adjustment that can take your car from over-steering to pushing by just making one end of the car 1mm wider or narrower.

Do you have the decals with them BP??
If not, do you want a scanned copy so you could make them?

Mine are on the sets from decal island or F1Paintlab. The face shield on mine is from the FGX set.

I saw those too, plus the Williams as well. They are all beautiful!!! I wish that they could change the cars for real to look like that!

Also wish that the guy who did these would do the black & gold Lotus/Renault and the Red Bull
