I think there is some confusion on the arms, there are only two types out there. The stock ones are a soft/med type and then the higher carbon arms are the hard ones. You can physically see the difference in the material that they are made of. The stock ones (med/soft) are a darker black and actually feel soft, where the hard arms have a hint of grey in them and are much stiffer. Either kit V1 or V2 are both the soft/med arm.
I'm currently testing a 2.25 chassis with the one piece motor mount, so far it has been very positive on carpet. It has made a fast but hard to drive car into a easy to drive car.
