My first car was the Futaba FX10 which was really a relabeled Tamiya Striker.
It had a mechanical speed control and nice nonadjustable shocks.
My first real car was a RC10 graphite with the new Stealth tranny, Teflon coated shocks, and slipper clutch. I had a pocket rocket motor in that thing.
