I was wondering if all sensored brushless motors can have their mechanical timing advanced. I have a 13.5 LRP X11. It does not have any markings on the can for timing locations, and it does not have seperate screw holes on top for different cap mounting locations. The 13.5 class I run in allows timing advance and I wanted to know if I could make this motor work. Thanks!
I have the same motor. It is a very early version X11, and timing CANNOT be advanced on it. Later run X11s you could turn the timing ring, and they have marks.
Overall it's still a good motor, pulls nice and strong! Heck, you can still get rotors, bearings, and endbell parts for 'em!
