Depending on the layout, there can be some validity to using the shorter bodies such as the 350Z or the S2000. Most setups don't offer any different laptimes between the 190mm bodies and 0 offset wheels vs. 200mm bodies and +3/+6 wheels.
Simple answer, pick the car that you want and roll with it!
If there were any significant aero advantage in any of the bodies, it would surely be outlawed in short order as that would violate the 'spirit' of the class.
Heck, just to be funny at our upcoming Halloween race, I'm doing the HPI minivan like a modern day Scooby Doo Mystery Machine. I know, I know, illegal at a sanctioned event, but it's CLUB racing that makes the world go round (or at least most of the little toy cars!). If it ain't fun, you're doing it wrong.
