I agree with your point about bullet plugs being the best way to avoid the dreaded bulge, but a good batter of the same capacity, with annoying wires, can be had for half the price.
Anyway, Granpa, I totally see your point about 60D tires being traction roll prone. I guess it's a trade off between being able to hit the corners hard or getting a little more top end.
