The kneaded putty front gear diff is great on asphalt. Suggest changing the putty after 40 or so runs. The putty doesnt break down but does become a smoother in texture. Imagine keeping any material in a mixer for too long. It will start of smooth-out. Not a big difference but will change the car feel.
Havent ran the putty yet on carpet but expect to have some feedback there by the end of this weekend. Usually keep a 300-500K gear diff and putty diff on hand.
