Questions?? Team Associated RC8B upgrades v/s 8.2 HELP???

I am going back and forth back and forth on this:

1) upgrading a RC8B roller with a lot of spares I just picked up off of RCTech for $270

or

2) buying the new RC8.2 $520 @ Amain

I am leaning toward just upgrading the roller I just got with the following parts:

Team Associated RC8B +3mm Chassis (Black)
[ASC89476] Low Price: $79.99

Team Associated Upgraded Rear Shock Tower
[ASC89484] Low Price: $26.99

Team Associated Upgraded Front Shock Tower
[ASC89483] Low Price: $23.49

Team Associated Light Front Differential Outdrive Set (2)
[ASC89477] Low Price: $17.99

Team Associated Light Rear Differential Outdrive Set (2)
[ASC89478] Low Price: $17.99

Team Associated "Low B" Suspension Plate w/Inserts
[ASC89481] Low Price: $17.99

Team Associated "Low-B" Plate Insert Set
[ASC89482] Low Price: $2.79

Team Associated Aluminum Steering Post Set (2)
[ASC89485] Low Price: $9.99

Team Associated Front Arms (RC8)
[ASC89025] Low Price: $11.75

Team Associated Rear Lower Arms (RC8)
[ASC89027] Low Price: $10.99

TOTAL: $219.96

(I really like the RPM A-ARMS)

RPM Rear Lower A-Arms (RC8)
[RPM73922] Low Price: $14.49

RPM Front Lower A-Arms (Black)
[RPM73972] Low Price: $16.49

TOTAL: $228.20 (With RPM A-Arms minus AE A-Arms)

One question I do have for now is: With the longer 3mm chassis, do I need a center drive shaft to compensate for the longer chassis? If so what is the part number???

more questions to surely follow.....
