has anyone done back to back comparison with the tekin rs in 17.5 blinky and what are your thoughts???
thanks

When I switched back in Feb from a Tekin RS to a LRP SS I saw a big difference in performance, Im a pretty consistent driver and the time I was putting into my racing at the track made for a very stable program to test new stuff. ( twice a week, 8 hours each day) I knew the track like the back of my hand and had turned 1000's of laps.
Overall top speed is on par with the Tekin in Blinky mode, the advantage I see is in the braking and acceleration. both are so smooth. We have 4 braking points on the track, with the Tekin you could get it right sometimes but not always. With the LRP it really made me confident in my braking. The other place I noticed improvement was in acceleration. There is a tight "kink" section of the track. With the Tekin you would try to apply power but it just was not there. ( mid throttle) with the LRP you could see the car accelerate in that section of the track.
Overall my consistently improved due to the above and my fastest lap dropped a 10Th.. That might not seem like much, but over a 6 minute race it makes a huge difference.
Hope this helps
