All racers use a 120 amp speed controller as we have had too many 60 amp thermal and cutout (our track is high grip carpet).
11-13 tooth pinions depending on motor temps.

I you are not racing I'd possibly recommend and 8.5 turn (400kv) motor as it gives a lot more flexibility in gearing.
Your call as to sensored or not (I prefer sensored) is up to you.

Nice!!! What shocks are you running?? Springs? What shock oil weights are your running. I've been having trouble with my suspension....too bouncy...then too flat. I can't seem to find the happy medium.
