The LX-2 is a good basher and can be track worthy to a certain extent, the .28 engine comes in both cars and has tons of power by far the best RTR engine out there. Lx-2 would need some upgrades to work in harder conditions like metal gear servos. that would make the car turn better and hold the corner speed and also give it even better stopping power with the fiber brakes.
X1X- better geometry with longer travel, it has a tighter turn ratio and way more tuning setups to the car, lots of upgrades can be made to the car to turn into an overall pro car. I myself have been driving my X1 buggy and have fun driving it.
