custom built 1/8 short course truck
hello all,
i have always admired team associated's sc8, but not a big fan of their prices.. ive decided to build my very own. from scratch. im building the chassis and roll cage from steel rod and tubing that im brazing together. and im building everything as close as i can to scale. but im putting my own twist. instead of 4 wheel independent suspension that the sc8 has, i want to put a 4 link in the back. and thats my problem. i cant seem to find a cheep axle for my project. does any one know of a cheep axle, and where i can find it? ive seen ones online for $120, all aluminum, but im not sure i wanna spend that much money.. are there any axles out there for maby 40-60? also i was wondering, can i use a 1/10 scale axle?
