Slas65, soft packs are usually cheaper and have some advantages from an installation perspective. Just be sure to check your racing club's rules. My local club does not allow Soft packs which is more of a Safety concern - mind you, I've broke a few hard cases over the last couple of years...as my buddy BBQ reminds, I gotta stop hitting chit
