Well, I do think the two DM-1 1/7 kits I got had been sitting around for a good 3-4 years in some Czech hobby shop(dude sold them at auction on German ebay..), but I don't know how sitting in a box can make the CB and 2-speed such a PIA...
Maybe it's my driving style.. Once the engine's warmed up I like to go for it.. But if this is normal then this car is not meant to be driven hard..
I've had Savages, LST2's, truggies, a buggy, a Kyosho onroader, have an SC8, etc.. So I think I know how to shim a clutch and set a gear mesh.. But this thing just isn't hanging..
I have a NIB 1/8 Spec version still unopened in the box, but IDK if it's worth keeping now, especially with NO local parts support..
Anyway, hopefully the Kyosho Evolva CB and pinions will make life easier.. Should be here soon.. Hopefully all I need to do for the 2-speed is just change the SG and nothing else intneral is fxxxed...
