It was a guy called Alan Blakeman from Leicester.
Most of the moulded chassis he did were black fibreglass, only a few specials had any carbon content, even those were carbon/fiberglass composite.

I think, jut my opinion of course, that those years were, in a way, better than today.
Not only for being younger myself... there was a lot on creativity, some level of ingenuity and some "being naive", which has really improved the cars.
Today, with touring cars, we yell as hysteric girls for a chassis 1mm wider than the other....
