That is an Optima Mid chassis of some sort...Kyosho had about 20 cars based off that.
I was thinking the same thing but I think that may actually be a JG Manufacturing chassis for the Optima Mid. There were so may companies that did aftermarket products back then. But JG did lots of fiberglass chassis if I remember correctly.
