We were talking about that particular servo, not comparing companies. FWIW, I'd put money on Savox all day long for longevity after owning both unlike yourself.
If I were you I would keep that hitec as a back up. Better yet sell it off, you wont need a back up for Savox
I never stated this vs that. Your post implemented it. I simply put how "high speed" type terms are over rated and not to be used by judging a servo. I just used hitec as a reference to savox. No were did I say hitec was better. Actully this post I quated of yours you are implying that savox is better than hitec.

When I get the savox it will stay a back up. It wouldn't make sense to run a servo with lesser specs. Plus hitec has been great to me.
